Q.Are there baby changing facilities at the show?

Yes. Boots Guildford are once again providing facilities on the Showground near the Show Office.

Q.Is there a cash point at the show?

The ICE Bank is located on 2nd Avenue adjacent to the Show Office. Please note that a charge is levied for cash withdrawn.

Q.Where can I park?

Parking at the showground will be charged at £5.00 and will be limited. Free parking is available at the Allianz and UOP office sites, just a short walk away. There are three free ‘Park and Ride’ services, running between 7am and 7pm. These are located at Surrey University, Onslow and Merrow Park and Ride. Please note that the parking immediately in front of the Spectrum and the double storey Spectrum car park are not available for Show visitors. 

Q.Can I catch a train to the show?

London Road train station is situated in Nightingale Road, two minutes walk from the Nightingale Road entrance to the showground.

If you are travelling from London, walk over the footbridge to Nightingale Road and turn left.

If you are coming from Guildford, just take the steps up the platform to Nightingale Road and turn left.

Alternatively you can arrive at the main Guildford station and catch a Show bus for an extra £1 each way.

Q.Can I bring my dog?

The Show is a dog friendly event and well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. There is a Fun Dog Show for pedigree and non pedigree dogs which takes place in the Dog Arena at 12.30pm (enter on the day, ringside, from 11am).

Q.Is there disabled access to the show ground?

Disabled drivers’ parking is available at the County Show – please follow the signs showing Blue Badges. You can park right next to the show ground and be dropped off at the Red Entrance. The ground is undulating. We have several suitable lavatories on site.

We offer a special price for carers of disabled visitors. Please contact the Show Office on 01483 890810.

The Event Mobility Charitable Trust will provide electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the show for a donation. To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair contact www.eventmobility.org.uk or contact their office on 01386 725391 to request a booking form. Please be aware that advance bookings for chairs cannot be made over the telephone.

Q.Where I can stay the night before the show?

There are several hotels in the vicinity of stoke Park. Some of these are within walking distance of the park. Please see the Where to Stay section on our web site.

Q.How can I buy my ticket for the show?

Advance tickets may be purchased online from early 2019. Earlybird prices apply. Tickets are also available from the Guildford Tourist Information Centre, High Street, Guildford. Alternatively call in to the Show Office on Stoke Park, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. You can also ring SCAS HQ on 01483 890810 to purchase tickets with a credit or debit card. 

All visitors are admitted to the showground at their own risk. The Society does not accept any responsibility for personal injury, or damage to property; or any other loss, damage, costs and expenses, however caused. Unfortunately we cannot hold tickets at any entrance.

Q.Do I get a discount for group bookings?

Yes. We offer one free adult ticket for every 12 purchased (this cannot be done online and is available in advance by post only). Group bookings and coach operators should book over the telephone on 01483 890810. Last post for tickets bought by telephone is the 16th May.

Q.Can I join the Surrey County Agricultural Society at the Show?

We are happy to welcome new members on Show day. Membership to the Society may be purchased from the Show Office on the day of the Show or online at least four week before the Show. See The Society to learn more about membership privileges. 

Q.What shall I wear to the show?

Please check the weather forecast before the show and dress appropriately. In the case of inclement weather wellies or sturdy shoes are advisable as the show ground is predominantly grass and can get muddy in places. In the event of a warm day, please ensure you use sun block and stay hydrated. 

Q.Is access to Stoke Park restricted on the run up to the show?

Please note that Stoke Park will be closed to the public on show weekend from Friday 24th May at 6pm, through Saturday and Sunday, until the morning of the Show. The Show is open for visitors on Bank Holiday Monday between 8am and 6pm. The park closes after the show and re-opens to the public on Wednesday 29th May at 12noon.

During the closed period, access through Nightingale Road will only be allowed to contractors, tradestands and authorised personnel with the requisite passes. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
