1 empty, sterilised bottle
Enough sloe berries to fill half the bottle
A bottle of your favourite gin
Two tablespoons of caster sugar
- Pick enough sloes to half fill your bottle. Stick the berries in the freezer overnight. This will split the skins and allow them to release their natural sweetness.
- Half fill your bottle and top it up with the gi. Add the sugar and shake for a minute. Lay the bottle on its side and turn every few days.
- Enjoy! Drink as a warm winter tipple, in a gin & Tonic with a slice o lime, or in a Sloeberry Eggnogg.
