The perfect Sloe Gin


1 empty, sterilised bottle

Enough sloe berries to fill half the bottle

A bottle of your favourite gin 

Two tablespoons of caster sugar 



  1. Pick enough sloes to half fill your bottle. Stick the berries in the freezer overnight. This will split the skins and allow them to release their natural sweetness. 
  2. Half fill your bottle and top it up with the gi. Add the sugar and shake for a minute. Lay the bottle on its side and turn every few days. 
  3. Enjoy! Drink as a warm winter tipple, in a gin & Tonic with a slice o lime, or in a Sloeberry Eggnogg.
